We offer several types of facials, including Microneedling with PRP, your own blood, Hydrafacials, Glycolic Peels, Salicylic Peels, Dermaplaning and LED light therapy. For the best results, we recommend a series of treatments in packages of four, six or ten treatments. Dr Maragh will determine the type and number of treatments needed depending on your skin type and condition.

Facials
Dermal fillers are used to help restore volume loss, facial sagging and wrinkles. As we age, our skin undergoes significant changes with loss of volume, movement of our fat pads under our cheeks and even skeletal bone remodeling. Our goal is to help restore the volume to give your face a more youthful, and rested appearance. We use several different types of fillers including Juvederm, Restylane and Radiesse. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in our skin to help us retain water and volume.
As we age, we lose hyaluronic acid from our skin, causing our skin to lose volume and structure. Juvéderm and Juvéderm Voluma are dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA) – a material that is a naturally present in the skin, joints and tissues of all living things. It plays an important role in moisturizing your skin and helps give skin its elasticity. Dermal fillers help to restore the volume loss with aging and restore the youthful appearance of the skin. These products replenish natural hyaluronic acid and hydrate the dermis by absorbing and holding the water molecules, giving your skin back its volume and initial form.
Juvéderm comes in three formulations—Juvéderm Ultra, Juvéderm Ultra Plus and Juvéderm Voluma. Juvederm Ultra is used for mild wrinkles and folds. Juvederm Ultra Plus is used on those with moderate to severe creases & folds. Juvederm Voluma gives an instant lift of the mid-face, helping restore volume lost with aging, restoring the youthful appearance of the face. Voluma is formulated to last up to 2 years.
During the procedure, we use a topical numbing cream to decrease any discomfort. These products are also available with lidocaine (numbing agent) to significantly reduce injection site discomfort.
Dr Maragh will select the best product regimen for you. The number of syringes will depend on the degree of wrinkles, loss of volume and what needs to be treated to give an overall beautiful result.

What is PRP Therapy?
PRP therapy, which stands for platelet-rich plasma therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses the patient’s own blood to create platelet-rich plasma. Numerous studies have shown that PRP is effective in treating a variety of conditions including hair loss. Platelet-rich plasma, contains a high concentration of platelets. Platelets play an important role in the healing process when injury occurs. The plasma also contains many proteins and growth factors to stimulate collagen, fibroblasts and growth of your hair. The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy procedure for hair loss involves obtaining the patient’s blood sample, which is then processed and injected into affected areas of the scalp.
Once injected, the platelet-rich plasma is believed to combat hair loss and stimulate your natural hair growth by improving blood supply to hair follicles and enhancing the width of the hair shaft. PRP injections can be used for treatment of women’s hair loss and men’s hair loss and may be used in conjunction with additional hair loss treatments to provide the best results. We also use medications and vitamin supplements. It is recommended that you obtain at least three to six treatments for the best results.

This procedure involves the use of a device with many tiny needles to create microchannels (tiny holes) into the skin. Don’t worry, we use a topical lidocaine to numb your skin, so that every patient is comfortable.
By creating these microchannels, your skin is stimulated to create more collagen. The skin is moved to a pathway of healing itself and producing new collagen and elastin quickly and decreasing scar tissue. This is a great procedure for patients with Acne Scars, large pores, dark hyperpigmentation and will improve wrinkles.

During our consult, we will discuss the goals of your overall face and the lip size and shape that you desire. We will review your pictures and then evaluate your lips and entire face. In younger patients, there may be more focus on adding volume to the lips or improving a lip asymmetry while an older patient may want to correct thinning of the lips and small perioral lines seen with the aging process.
